Barbaresco Giacone Marne Bianche is the result of several years of experimentation in the vineyard and in the cellar. The grapes come from the highest part of our old vineyard on the top of the hill, where the marls, for geological reasons, are more on the surface. Once in the cellar, the grapes are gently pressed and fermentation takes place through the use of indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with daily pumping over for 30 days. After racking, the wine is placed in large Slavonian oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. After aging in wood for 12 months, the wine is aged in mixed ceramic tanks (Clayver) for 12 months, then bottled and released for sale 4 years after the harvest. The color is deep garnet red, the nose is austere and complex. Definitely a wine for aging.
